So we watched Schindler's List tonight in anticipation of our visit to Sachsenhausen concentration camp tomorrow. For as much as I've heard about this movie, I was strangely unmoved by it.
Maybe it's that I've grown up with so many World War Two movies and drama serials on TV that I've gotten so immuned to any violence associated with the World War. Even given that this film was a lot more graphic than the ones that I grew up watching, I still find myself unmoved by it.
I don't know. That's as far as I'm processing tonight.
